Gene and Anne Chase were married in 1951. Shortly thereafter, in 1955, they begin the process of homesteading and successfully "proved up" in 1962. The four generations of male lineage Chases are standing in front of the home they worked so hard to build, on their homestead land they called "Mountain View Farm".
