Les Parker operating "donkey", a small gas-powered winch located above Leroy gold mine. Designed to control braking of ore load sent down mountain to mill buiding. Gas engine then used to pull empty dump back up mountain to be filled at ore chute for next load. Note steep, rocky terrain.
