LODE CLAIM NOTICE OF LOCATION.
of the IROQUISE II (ed: Iroquois) Mining claim. Notice is hereby given that the undersigned, having compiled with all of the requirements of the laws of the United States, and the local laws, customs & regulations have this 31 day of August A.D. 1938 discovered located & claimed 1500 linear ft. horizontal measurement of, on and along the lode or vein of quarts or other rock in place bearing gold, silver, copper, lead or other metal, with 300 ft. of surface ground on each side of center line of said claim; together with all dips, spurs, angles, and variations as allowed by law and all veins, lodes, deposits & ground within the lines of said claim situated within the Juneau mining Dist. Territory of Alaska.
The general course of said vein or deposit as nearly as can at this time be determine Is Northerly and Southerly. This claim extends 1500 ft. in a southerly direction from the discovery monument on which this notice is posted along the course of said center line of said claim.
Said claim is more particularly described as follows: Is located on the southern shore of Reid Inlet on the Northern slope of Mountains east of Lampaugh (ed: Lamplugh) Glacier, approximately ¼ mi. from ptarmigan creek. witnesses: locators - claimants
