Location "White Eagle" Abraham Lincoln Parker, Glacier Bay, Alaska.

First prospecting trip by Leslie and Abraham Lincoln Parker (age 71) to Glacier Bay following reopening of mining in 1936. Discovered & Located by Abraham Lincoln Parker Oct. 2, 1937. Witnessed by son Leslie "Les" Parker, & recorded Dec. 6, 1937 in Juneau, Territory of Alaska.


LODE CIAIM NOTICES OF LOCATION

of the WHITE EAGLE Mining Claim.

Notice is Hereby Given  that  the undersigned,  having complied with all   the requirements of the Laws of the United  States,  and  the local laws,   customs and  regulations has  this 2nd day  of Oct.   A.   D.   1937  discovered,   located and  claimed   1500 linear  feet,   horizontal  measure -ment of,   on and along the lode or vein of quartz or other rock  in places bearing gold,   silver, copper,  lead or other metal,  with 300 feet of surface ground on each  side of the center line of  said  claim;   together with all dips,   spurs,   angles,   and   variations as allowed by law;  and all veins,   lodes,   deposits, and  ground within the lines of  said claim;   situated in the Juneau mining district,   Territory of Alaska.     The general  course of said  vein or deposit as nearly  as can,  at  this  time,  be determined  is Southerly and  Northerly.     This claim extends 1000 feet Southerly and 500 feet northerly from the discovery monument on which this notice is posted,  along  the  course of  said  center line of said claim.     Said  claim is more particularly described as follows:

Southerly about 2¼ miles from Reid  inlet and Easterly about ½  mile  from Lampugh (ed: Lamplugh) Glacier in Glacier Bay Alaska,  there  is a rock monument on each  corner.    One at each center end  and one at discovery.
