LODE CLAIM
NOTICE OF LOCATION.
of the Big Thing Mining Claim.
Notice is Hereby Given that the undersigned, having complied with all the requirements of the Laws of the United States, and the local laws, customs and regulations has this 4th
day of Oct. A. D. 1937 discovered, located and claimed 1500 linear feet, horizontal measure- ment of, on and along the lode or vein of quartz or other rock in place bearing gold, silver, copper, lead or other metal, with 300 feet of surface ground on each side of the center line of said claim; together with all dips, spurs, angles, and variations as allowed by law; and all veins, lodes, deposits, and ground within the lines of said claim; situated in the Juneau mining district, Territory of Alaska. The general course of said vein or deposit as nearly as can, at this time, be determined is Southerly and Northerly. This claim tends 900 feet Southerly and 600 feet Northerly from the discovery monument on which this notice in posted, along the course of said center line of said claim. Said claim is more particularly described follows: About 2 miles southerly from Reid Inlet and about ¼ mile easterly from Lampugh (ed: Lamplugh) Glacier in Glacier Bay Alaska, their is a rock monument on each corner one at each center end and a rock monument at discovery.
